  1. Some of the forms have been aggregated.
  2. Waivers include the following forms: I-191, I-192, I-601, I-602, I-612, and I-212.
  3. Discrepancies from past historical processing time reports may exist due to differences in reporting procedures.
  4. These processing times, which combine data from all USCIS offices, are based on the length of time that an office's application/petition receipts have been awaiting adjudication (pending).
  5. These processing times exclude petitions and applications with, for example, a pending re-exam for N-400s, request for evidence (RFE), notice of intent to deny or revoke, or due to visa unavailability. As a result, the times posted on the historic processing times website may differ from what is on the processing times website.
  6. Historical processing times are not comparable to the processing times posted on the USCIS processing times webpage (https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/) for certain form types due to different methodologies (for example, cycle time methodology versus processing time methodology). For more information, visit the Case Processing Times page.
  7. FY2020 uses data from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020.
